           1- Monastery of St. Catherine in Sharm el Sheikh




One of the world’s largest heritage sites listed with UNESCO
Monastery of St. Catherine is located at the foot of Mount Moses, in honor of the burning tree location which God spoke to Moses as stated in the Old Testament.


In the middle of the great natural scenery St. Catherine is highlighted which includes many artworks related back the old culture, figurines, mosaic paintings as well as one of the largest collections of famous manuscripts.
                              

                        2-Ras Mohammed National Park


Location: the protected park is located at the southern end of the Sinai Peninsula at the confluences of Gulf of Suez and Aqaba. The total area consists of 480 km 2, 12 km from the city of Sharm el-Sheikh, 70 km from the city of Tur which also consists of 135 km 2 of land in addition to 345 km 2 in the water area.

Ras Mohammed was declared in 1983 as the first protected national park in Egypt. Ras Mohammed  is distinguished by its coral reeflife living in the deep sea water, colored fish and the threatened extinction of turtles and other aquatic creatures such as mollusks, echinoderms, algae and other marine life. The coral reefs surround  Ras Mohammed from all sides, and the geomorphologic nature of the area formulates a unique configuration and significant impact in shaping the region’s natural life.

Landslides from earthquake are leading to the formulation of underwater caves and different rock formations. Coral reefs are extending from Ras Mohammed to the northern direction and around the islands of Tiran and Sanafir that house the rare bird Osprey.




The Red Sea’s number one tourist destination, Sharm el-Sheikh is an Egyptian city for the tourist looking to exploit the area’s hot weather and calm waters rather than the country’s ancient civilization.


Sharm el Sheikh, one of the most beautiful four cities in the world as classified by the BBC in 2005, this city was built in 1968 and quickly evolved to become one of the most famous cities in the world.

  1. Naama Bay: It is a beautiful place located in the heart of Sharm el Sheikh .. There you will find all the nationalities of the world in large numbers.
    It has 2 walkway streets with a shops and cafes on its sides and they are the main streets in Naama bay, the street are locally called “Champs-Élysées” or “El Machaya” in Arabic.
    The walkway street has a varieties of shops like (Antiques, souvenirs, gifts and silver shops). The first thing cross your mind are Naama bay once you hear Sharm el Sheikh!! And everybody loves to stay in a hotel near to it due to its attractions but no issue if the hotel was far from the walkway street  Champs-Élysées of Sharm el Sheikh, all the hotels has a shuttle bus transportation from and to the walkway for free in a specific times during the day.
  2. Glass Boat trip: its submarine has a glass bottom so you can see the underwater fish and the colorful coral reefs. The journey usually takes between 1 to 3 hours and its perfect for all the family and specially the kids. It’s also has several names including: Sea scope, Aquascope or Submarine, and it has different shapes and styles.
  3. Bedouin Dinner: this is not a place… it is an activity that can be done during your vacation in Sharm el Shaikh. The majority of hotels are offering this activity during the year.
    A bus will take you to high plateau in Sharm el Sheikh at 7:00PM to sit in the Bedouin tents, and you just have to choose the suitable tent or sitting area for your convenient then the Bedouin dinner will be served for you or it’s an open buffet, also during the dinner will be a traditional dancing shows which is very entertaining and joyful.
    The shows, tents and the dinner may vary from place to another, but generally they are all the same concept.

Most of Sharm el-Sheikh’s hotels are spectacular and all-inclusive, with five star entertainment in abundance. However if you wanted to venture out in the evening, nearby Naama Bay offers a variety of restaurants serving both local and western cuisine, as well as excellent bars, shops and a casino


Sharm el-Sheikh’s average yearly temperature exceeds 30°C, while the daytime temperature between May and October isn’t expected to drop below 35°C. Temperatures in July and August regularly exceed 40°C, so while you’re guaranteed one hell of a tan, take care and regularly apply sun cream and drink plenty of water.






The bay’s beautiful underwater scenery has resulted in the resort becoming popular with divers and snorkelers the world over. Consisting of exotic fish, submerged gardens and beautiful reefs, the calm, warm waters of Sharm make it one of the best places to dive on the planet.
